American Wind Capital Acquires Wind Farm Capital

ESSEX, Conn., May 26 /PRNewswire/ — American Wind Capital Company (AWCC), a leader in monetizing royalties from wind and other renewable energy projects, today announced an agreement to acquire Wind Farm Capital (WFC), a Connecticut-based company that also acquires royalty assets. Financial details were not disclosed.

  --  WFC brings a significant pipeline of monetization opportunities, as
      well as a network of regional sale representatives to support the
      company's origination effort.  Together, the combined company will
      take advantage of the 30,000 MW of installed wind capacity, as well as
      other renewable opportunities.
  --  Wind Farm Capital's management team will join American Wind Capital. 
      Jeff Keeler, an experienced professional in wind power development and
      acquisitions, joins as the Vice President of Business Development, and
      Justin Marron, a leader in managing royalty acquisitions in the
      wireless communications and utility businesses, joins as the Vice
      President of Acquisitions.
