Aberdeen Harbour Board has appointed James Bell as finance director following the recent retiral of Graeme Clark after 26 years service.

Mr Bell commenting on his appointment: “This is an exciting opportunity for me. I look forward to the opportunities that the future will bring as Aberdeen’s Trust port develops.”
In commenting on the appointment, Aberdeen Harbour Board Chairman, Keith Allan said: “We are pleased to welcome James to this key position and believe his extensive financial experience will both complement and further strengthen the Board’s senior management team.”
Aberdeen Harbour handles around five million tonnes of cargo, valued at £1.5 billion, and high levels of shipping for a wide range of industries. With more than £200 million invested by the Board in the last 30 years, the port is one of the most modern in Europe.
