“Oil and Gas Job Search announce promising half year results”

Managing Director of Oil and Gas Job Search, Duncan Freer, approved the financial statement for the company’s first 6 months of their financial year. Half year sales were £1.9m, a significant increase of 53% on last year’s figure.

Recent growth has been assisted by the January launch of the world’s most comprehensive oil and gas salary guide produced in conjunction with strategic partners, Hays Oil & Gas. The salary guide, featured in 150 worldwide publications, has been downloaded 55,000 times already this year.

Duncan Freer comments: ‘Our recent success demonstrates our growing reputation in global markets. It also shows an industry brimming with confidence despite widespread concerns over the economy. We are delighted with our half year results and confident that our future plans will lead to similar, if not better, growth for the rest of the year.’

Oil and Gas Job Search has a team of development professionals who were instrumental in the re-launch of the website in September 2011. Recent, industry leading improvements have been made to the job posting process with further work planned in the next few weeks that will enhance the user experience for clients and candidates.

In February, Oil and Gas Job Search successfully exhibited at the Australasian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference in Perth. More exhibitions are planned for the UK, Canada, Norway, Singapore and United Arab Emirates during the rest of 2012.
