STR launches Oleum Resourcing as part of ongoing growth and diversification
Monday, Nov 12, 2012
As part of STR’s ongoing global growth and diversification strategy, the business is pleased to announce the introduction of Oleum Resourcing; a separate niche company dedicated to Oil and Gas Recruitment.
The STR Group, formed in 2000, began as recruitment solution specialists within the Technical sector. Due to continued growth in this area, and in particular the Oil and Gas industry, STR has formed Oleum Resourcing to deliver recruitment solutions for the Offshore, Onshore and FEED/EPC sectors on a global scale.
With the new company strategically located in Scotland, the site acts as a hub for Oil and Gas Recruitment internationally. The team, who consists of industry experts Mike Lister, Murray Thomson and Rob Moyes, boasts a profound knowledge of the Oil and Gas sector as well as possessing an international reach, and will be working with oil majors, energy companies, EPC and drilling companies across a range of vertical markets worldwide.
The name ‘Oleum Resourcing’, which means ‘oil’ in Latin, was developed in-house along with the unique logo and brand identity to reflect this specialist division. In support of this new company, a dedicated website has been developed featuring the latest jobs, client and contractor information, and the global services on offer – www.oleum-resourcing.com.
Commenting on the launch of Oleum Resourcing, Richard Crawley, CEO of STR said;
“We are very proud to launch Oleum Resourcing, which demonstrates our continued growth and diversification on a global scale. The STR Group continues to show phenomenal growth, and the formation of this new company is another great addition to our already strong group of global brands.
Opening an office in Scotland is the result of increasing demand from existing and new clients to have a base in the area. Scotland is the Oil and Gas centre of Europe, so it’s important that we are located here and available to service our clients”.
Oleum Resourcing complements and strengthens STR’s existing portfolio of global brands, joining Navis Consulting, Vortice Aviation and Medicor Global launched earlier this year.
