Oteac Integrated Safety Services have recently consolidated their distribution agency with Scott Health and Safety on both the product and service support functions.
Oteac now boasts a fully qualified team to undertake inspection, maintenance and testing of the complete Scott range of Full Duration, Escape and Airline equipment using the latest ‘Sabretest’ computerised test equipment.
On the equipment front, Oteac are now able to supply the new range of Scott Advanced Carrying System (ACS) self contained breathing apparatus, developed after considerable research and investment and with variants designed specifically for the Marine, Industrial and Fire markets.
ACS is the lightest carrying system in its class. It is significantly lighter than competitor products, increasing comfort, ease of movement and reducing wearer fatigue. The range is modular in its construction with variants designed to suit specific market applications as outlined below:
The Scott ACSfx is the flagship set of the ACS range. Offering the highest levels of protection, the ACSfx builds upon the success of the Propak and represents the future of Self Contained Breathing Apparatus.
The ACSf was developed for the Professional Fire Service, offering high levels of comfort and performance. Built upon the success of the Propak SCBA, the ACSf integrates Thermoflex™ technology and a reliable two-stage pneumatic system to ensure the high quality and performance.
The ACSi builds upon the sucsesses of the Contour SCBA range, combining comfort and performance with low through-life costs. The ACSi integrates thermoflex technology and revolutionary pneumatics systems to result in a high quality SCBA product.
The Sigma ACSm is a low cost SCBA set giving the same high levels of protection as the ACSi but packaged as a simple and effective solution for use in Industry, Shipping and other non-firefighting environments. The Sigma ACS has been built upon the success of the Sigma 2 SCBA, but with the technological advancements of the ACS range.
