EADS has been forced to take a further €341m ($434m) charge for the latest delays to the development of its A400M military transport aircraft, bringing the extra costs of Europes biggest military contract to €1.7bn.
It warned that it was still unable to produce a reliable delivery schedule and said it would face further charges for the loss-making fixed price contract, possibly before the end of the year.
