Monsanto executives to address investors at December events

Monsanto Company will hold a series of webcasts in conjunction with three investor events next month. Executives will discuss the company's business performance and operational path, financial targets, product performance and other matters related to the business during the presentations.

At 9 a.m. C.T. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, Brett Begemann, executive vice president -Seeds & Traits, will present at Citi's Basic Materials Symposium.

On Tuesday, Dec. 8, Hugh Grant, president and chief executive officer, will present at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch 2009 Global Industries Conference. That presentation will begin at 10:40 a.m. C.T.

Additionally, Monsanto will host a special event for investors to review 2009 yield data on Dec. 8 hosted by Chief Technology Officer Robb Fraley and Ted Crosbie, vice president - Breeding. The presentation at the 2009 American Seed Trade Association Research Conference will begin at 12:30 p.m. C.T.

Slides and a simultaneous audio webcast will be available for each presentation by visiting the investor section of Monsanto's web site. Following the live broadcasts, a replay of the webcasts will be available on the Monsanto web site for three weeks.
