After a spate of recent hand injuries offshore, LHR Marine are now offering a wide range of Hands Free Lifting & Material Handling Tools. LHR Marine are so committed to improving safety in this area they have even developed their own Safehands Tool.  The Safehands Tool offers industrial hand protection and safety during the lifting and setting down of loads such as containers.  Other applications include the gathering of small lifting bridles and the prevention of spinning.  Unique benefits of the Safehands Tool include an easily adjustable extendable pole, a “V” shaped removable head with rubber grip surface for pushing and hook end for pulling (allowing the user to move loads in different directions) and soft feel rubber hand grips providing excellent grip and comfort.  The Safehands Tool also conforms to the EN 13921:2007 EU Harmonized Standard, an industry first for this type of product.
