Coates Offshore Opens for Business in Great Yarmouth

Global equipment rental specialists to the energy industry, Coates Offshore, has opened a new facility in Great Yarmouth.
The premises, located in Harfreys Industrial Estate, marks the continued growth and geographical expansion of Coates Offshore. Two local jobs have been created whilst operations will be managed from Aberdeen headquarters.
“Great Yarmouth was an obvious and ideal location for Coates Offshore,” commented Ian Cass, Sales & Marketing Director. “We have relationships with a number of customers here in Aberdeen whom also operate in Great Yarmouth. Opening and operating a dedicated facility enables us to provide our customers with a greater level of service, reduced transportation costs and investment in equipment to accommodate offshore weight restrictions.”
Ian added: “The new outer harbour development in Great Yarmouth will also enable easier and more cost effective transportation of equipment to Holland and Norway helping us to grow our business in Europe.”
The Coates Offshore local facility will provide customers within the region a range of Coates Offshore fleet rental equipment including Zone II, Rig Safe and Safe Zone air compressors and steam generators.
Established in 1999, Coates Offshore (Rentair Ltd) provide specialist equipment rental solutions to the energy industry from their main head quarters in Aberdeen, with support operations in the Netherlands, Norway, Brazil, Malaysia, Indonesia, Western Australia and Angola.
