Nylacast have the great pleasure of returning to Munich by exhibiting at the world renowned construction show, Bauma 2013, from the 15th to the 21st of April 2013.
On stand 412B of Hall A5, Nylacast will be showcasing their world renowned engineering polymer solutions for the construction industry. Through working closely with customers from JCB to CAT, Manitou and Volvo, they have specialized in developing this unique polymer for over 45 years. Continuous investments in R&D allow Nylacast to develop new applications and materials to achieve successful, performance enhancing alternatives to components made from traditional materials such as metals. Utilising their state of the art manufacturing facilities and worldwide locations, Nylacast are able to provide customers and clients with bespoke components, delivering stable, strong and cost effective technical polymers which are ideal for a large range of applications used within the arduous environments of the Construction industry. This includes sheave wheels, outrigger pads, bushes, bearings, hose pulleys, gears and wear pads to name but a few.
Nylacast will also be showcasing their pioneering polymer sheaves at Bauma on stand A5.412B. Nylacast Sheaves allow for a number of significant advantages over steel, adding great value to projects and applications. Nylacast sheaves are proven to be extremely effective and beneficial in crane construction amongst other applications. Weighing approximately 1/7th of alternate steel sheaves, results in them being easier to handle during installation or replacement, whilst maintaining load capacity. On cranes, the wire rope is a fundamental element, which can often wear rather quickly due to the constant pressure between the rope and the sheave. Nylacast sheaves are the perfect solution to this expensive problem, as they allow for a significant longer rope life. As Nylacast materials require no lubrication and have a low co-efficient of friction, the need for routine and costly maintenance is considerably reduced and in some cases eliminated, making Nylacast sheaves cost effective in comparison to cast iron or steel.
Nylacast will also be showcasing Nylacast Bigfoot, the industry approved outrigger crane pad. Nylacast Bigfoot was initially developed in conjunction with industrial demand, where a need arose for a reliable, strong and safe outrigger pad. This needed to be made from a tough, affordable material strong enough to withstand heavyweights yet still be light enough to carry around. Nylacast Bigfoot has been used by a number of major crane hire companies for over 20 years. Nylacast Bigfoot pads significantly outperform traditional polyethylene pads on every level and have proven to be the safest and most cost effective choice. Stable support for crane outriggers is essential for safe operation. With Nylacast Bigfoot you can be sure it is the correct tool for the job.
