The RUD drag conveyors offers maximum durability in feeding and ash removal for coal fired power plants and biomass plants. The strength and versatility of the drag conveyors are remarkable especially when used in harsh conditions.

The Apron conveyor uses round steel link chain as a pulling element which is driven by pocket wheels. The apron conveyor possesses many advantages from its robust simple construction to its lower construction height due to smaller diameter wheels. The round link chain system used is self-cleaning and works well in wet, corrosive and dirty environments. RUD Apron feeders are ideal for the transport of bulk and unit bulk loads in applications such as power stations, recycling and construction.

Atwood Oceanics announces contract for the Atwood advantage

HOUSTON, Sept. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Atwood Oceanics, Inc.  (NYSE: ATW) announced today that one of its subsidiaries has been awarded a drilling services contract for the Atwood Advantage by a subsidiary of Noble Energy Inc. (NYSE: NBL) for a worldwide program commencing in the Eastern Mediterranean.  The Atwood Advantage is a 12,000 foot water depth capable, dynamically positioned drillship currently under construction at Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (“DSME”) shipyard in South Korea.  The agreement specifies an operating rate of approximately $584,000 per day and a firm duration of three years, exclusive of the mobilization period from DSME to the first drilling location. Houston American Energy reports progress on Zorro Gris #1 well

Aztec announces previous closing of its XII drilling program and partnership under that program

Gas Natural Inc. completes acquisition of pipeline assets in Maine

Atwood Oceanics orders third Ultra-Deepwater drillship

ATWOOD OCEANICS, INC. (NYSE: ATW) announced today that one of its subsidiaries had entered into a turnkey construction contract with Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. (“DSME”) to construct a third ultra-deepwater drillship, to be named the Atwood Admiral, at the DSME yard in South Korea.  The Atwood Admiral is expected to be delivered by March 31, 2015 at a total cost, including two blowout preventers (“BOPs”), project management, drilling and handling tools and spares, of approximately $635 million. The company recently increased the accordion under its senior secured credit facility by $200 million to a total of $550 million, which, together with available cash and cash flows from operations, is expected to fully fund the construction of the Atwood Admiral.  Upon delivery, the Atwood Admiral will become the sixteenth mobile offshore drilling unit owned by the company. Fancy a change of scenery?

The National Hyperbaric Centre (NHC) is now running courses in South Africa. The initiative has been introduced by the NHC due to the demand from the growing South African diving industry which will include its renowned OGP Client Representative, Diving System Auditing & Assurance (DSAA) and IMCA Air Diving Supervisor courses.

The DSAA course will be running from the 31st October to the 2nd of November at Unique Hydra in Cape Town, which will allow course attendees to utilising there diving systems. The IMCA Air Diving Supervisor courses, running from the 5th to the 9th November, and the OGP Client Representative course, running from the 12th to the 16th November, will both be held at the Lord Charles Hotel in Somerset West.

James Ridgeway, Training Manager for the NHC, said “The diving industry in South Africa is going through a growth period which has caused the upsurge in requirement for training, which has been shown by the number of course attendees in Aberdeen from South Africa.”
