Fairstar Heavy Transport N.V. awarded transportation contract by Hercules Offshore to transport the Hercules Rig 185

Fairstar Heavy Transport N.V. has been awarded a new transportation contract by Hercules Offshore to transport the Hercules 185 jack-up rig from Port Gentil, Gabon to either Pascagoula, Mississippi or Bahrain using the Fairstar semi-submersible vessel FJELL. The contract revenue is just under USD 3 million. The rig is expected to be loaded on board the FJELL on October 5. The final destination will be nominated by Hercules once the rig has been loaded. Breezer Ventures announces encouraging drilling update

CHINA, Sept. 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ – Breezer Ventures Inc. (OTCQB: BRZV) (“Breezer Ventures ” or the “Company”) recently drilled the Elma Jackson #6 to a total depth of 2737′ on the Elma Jackson Lease located five miles north of Baird, Texas.  The Company has commenced the process of rehabilitating this oil well.  The well was originally drilled in the 1960′s by Magnolia Petroleum which later became Mobil Oil.  The oil well contains an existing cased well bore into the Moran Sand at 2720 feet. Oil production was originally reported in excess of 30 barrels per day in the Moran Formation.  The well was abandoned almost 25 years ago and since that time there have been several significant discoveries in close proximity. Eni and GDF SUEZ have signed an agreement for Eni to purchase the 22.5% shareholding of GDF SUEZ in EFOG, a joint-venture between GDF SUEZ and Total E&P UK Ltd, which holds a 46.2% stake in the Elgin – Franklin fields located in the United Kingdom’s North Sea. Corridor Spuds Frederick Brook Shale Gas Appraisal Well

Corridor Resources Inc. (TSX:CDH) Corridor Resources Inc. announced today that it has spud the vertical Will DeMille O-59 shale gas appraisal well, an offset to the Will DeMille G-59 horizontal well drilled in 2010, in order to advance the Frederick Brook Shale program. A significant factor in the selection of the Will DeMille O-59 location was the strong gas shows encountered in the horizontal section of the Will DeMille G-59 horizontal well during drilling. The Will DeMille O-59 well is located north of Elgin, New Brunswick and is expected to be drilled to a total depth of approximately 2800 meters by the end of October, 2011 with Akita drilling rig #40. The well will be logged and cased in preparation for completion and testing operations expected in Q2 of 2012 when the appropriate equipment is anticipated to be in the area. JayHawk Delivers 1695 Barrels of Oil

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho, Sept. 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — JayHawk Energy, Inc. Canacol Energy Ltd. Completes Drilling of Rancho Hermoso 11 Well in Colombia

Canacol Energy Ltd.
