TGS Announces Multi-client 3D Survey in Benin

TGS will commence a multi-client 3D survey Offshore Benin in blocks 5 and 6. This project covers roughly 4,000 km2 in the deep water area of Benin.   Data acquisition will commence in January 2011 and is expected to be completed in Q2 2011.  This project is the second in a series of surveys along the African Transform Margin, following the Gambia project announced on 5 October 2010.  Specialized data processing will be done at TGS’ imaging center in Houston, TX. LDK Solar Co., Ltd. (“LDK Solar”) (NYSE: LDK), a leading manufacturer of multicrystalline solar wafers and PV products, today announced that the Company has entered into a multi-year wafer and polysilicon supply contract with Shanxi Lu’an Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Lu’an Group, a leading Chinese energy enterprise.  Under terms of the contract, LDK Solar will provide 120 megawatts (MW) of solar wafers commencing in January 2011 through December 2012 and 2,000 metric tons of polysilicon commencing inJanuary 2011 through February 2013.
