Petroleo Brasileiro (Petrobras) has made a discovery of oil and natural gas with an exploration well drilled onshore Brazil in the Espirito Santo Basin.
Petrobras announces new agreement for hydrocarbon exploration in Portugal
Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. - Petrobras announces that its wholly-owned subsidiary Petrobras International Braspetro BV (PIB-BV) signed today an agreement with the Government of Portugal for hydrocarbon exploration in deep waters in the Alentejo Basin, in Portugal.
Petrobras announces new oil discovery in Colombia
Petrobras announces an oil discovery in the Balay exploration block, in Colombia, operated by its subsidiary Petrobras Colombia Limited which holds a 45% working interest. The discovery was made through the drilling of the Balay-1 wild cat well, located onshore, in the Llanos Basin, within the province of Casanare.
