Alcatel-Lucent signs global framework deal with T-Systems

Deutsche Telekom's business division T-Systems and Alcatel-Lucent have concluded a global framework agreement under which Alcatel-Lucent is providing T-Systems and Deutsche Telekom with convergent IP communications services from its enterprise portfolio. This agreement will allow T-Systems and the business customer branch of Deutsche Telekom, to supply enterprise customers and business customers with IP services for voice and data networking. The services include telecommunications systems Octopus Open and Octopus EP, as well as a large LAN portfolio. These also include hybrid VoIP and digital communications systems for businesses, services for contact centres, hotels and hospitality, unified communications applications, mobility products, LAN and WLAN platforms, network management, and security services. All business units of DT, including its affiliates worldwide will now have direct access to Alcatel-Lucent's enterprise services and managed services offer. The framework agreement, which demonstrates a long-term collaboration, replaces and expands previous non-global agreements.
